Information You Submit
A third-party provider receives the name, phone number or address entered in a search form. Our servers do not retain a copy of that search. When you contact us, we receive the details in your message and use them to answer.
Automatic Technical Data
Normal hosting logs may contain an IP address, browser type, requested pages and timestamps. We review totals to maintain the service and understand page use. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where used.
How Information Is Used
Technical data helps us operate the service, repair faults, measure visits and improve content. We neither sell lists of visitors nor create profiles about individual readers.
Privacy on Linked Services
Links lead to county and state portals, archives, library collections and outside search providers. Information submitted after leaving this service is controlled by the destination's privacy policy. Sponsored results are also supplied by an outside company under its own terms.
Who Might See Your Data
The service providers that host and support the site process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We disclose data when a valid legal process requires it, and not otherwise.
Safeguarding Limited Data
An encrypted connection protects traffic to the service, and logs are retained only while needed for the purposes described here. Since there are no user accounts, we hold no account password or personal profile for you.
Users Under 18
The site is meant for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Privacy Choices
No broad Georgia consumer data-broker deletion statute was identified in the project research. Rights may still depend on where you live and the service involved. Because we retain little information, a request normally means checking our contact mailbox and available logs. Use the Contact page to ask. Public records held by Georgia, Chatham County or Savannah offices remain under the control of the relevant custodian, so correction or access requests must go there.
Updates to This Policy
Any change to this policy will be posted on this page. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated version.
